Cassandra started working with the Gage County Museum in August of 2021. She has worked with history teaching at the public level and private level for over 20 years. She has three degrees, an associates in art degree, a bachelor's in education, and a bachelor's in history. She also has 24 years of experience beginning in event planning and fundraising for local charities and nonprofits. At the museum her responsibilities include overseeing the day to day functions of the museum which includes staffing, grant writing, newsletter publication, exhibit design, curation, fundraising, and finances. Alex Cook graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology and a minor in English and Criminal Justice. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also spent a semester in England studying law at Downing College at the University of Cambridge. He is a history enthusiast with a desire to help preserve local history and share it with others.
