Event Description:

The Prairie Astronomy Club will be hosting “Lunar Observations.”
On April 29, 2023, from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m.
At the Filley Stone Barn
13282 East Scott Road, 2 miles south of Filley, Nebraska

The Moon is the largest natural satellite and the closest astronomical object to Earth. A variety of instruments may be used to view the Moon, the most common being a telescope. Enjoy learning more about the Moon’s surface with the knowledgeable people from the Prairie Astronomy Club. Please bring lawn chairs to sit for viewing will be limited to the number of telescopes.
